2/4 Tuesday- Great Picture Book Resources… to use now!

Welcome to another 2/4 Tuesday! Today I would like to share 4 books that I am using in my classroom.

Check out the other bloggers listed below! Bloggers- be sure to post about 2-4 teaching ideas that you love and want to share! And link up below!

Perfect for the older kids for Halloween spooky time! They LOVE it! Comes with a CD recording of the story and includes high-quality orchestral excerpts that represent the characters in the story.

My grade 4 Orff club is working on an Orff composition with this book.
There is AMAZING artwork in this book that just happens to be pop-up!

This is a great one for vocal exploration for the Kinders. Comes with a CD.

This is super fun! A punk rock rendition of Old MacDonald. Perfect in conjunction with Kriske and Delelles' Kindergarten Game Plan farm animal theme unit.

  1. I have Doing the Animal Bop and Punk Farm, as well. Love them! Thanks for sharing the book to use with older students. I would love to use some picture books with them, but am always worried about them being to 'babyish' in their eyes. What grade do you use the book and how do you present it to them. (I always think half of getting them to think highly of it is in the presentation.) I'll try to link up later tonight!

  2. Who starts the Linky partys? I'd love to jump on that bandwagon the next time it comes around. I mean, I love sharing what I do, but mostly I love connecting with other folks and seeing what they do and the amazing ways that they do it!

Great blog post here! Can't wait to go and download those cards!

    Thanks!
